🕓 One Day a Week: Participants attend a 4-hour session once a week

📘 21 Learning Modules: Each Module is delivered across 3 tiers culminating in supported real world application.

🚀 Escalating Side Projects: Participants complete side projects in their own time that propel them towards their goals

👥 Group & Individual Work: Participants rotate through guided activities, 1:1 coaching, group based work and external excursions

🧩 Structured Zones: Each space in the room supports a different kind of learning

🏅 Personalised Progress: Everyone works at their own pace, guided by their coach and support staff and Peer Mentors

Orientation

Orientation is the first step in the Power Unleashed journey ,it’s where trust is built, expectations are set, and participants are welcomed with clarity, warmth, and purpose. This module isn’t just administrative ,it’s about creating a sense of belonging and possibility. Participants are introduced to how Power Unleashed works, what they can expect, and what support is available. They begin shaping their goals, connecting with their coach, and gaining a sense of control over their pathway forward.

Self Discovery

The Self Discovery module is all about helping participants understand who they are, what matters to them, and what makes them unique. Through a mix of creative, reflective, and practical activities, each person explores their values, strengths, interests, and emotional landscape at their own pace. Whether they use words, visuals, movement, or conversation, this module is designed to feel safe, empowering, and deeply personal, because real growth starts with knowing yourself.

Mindset

Mindset is the lens we see ourselves, others, and the world through. For many participants, this lens has been clouded by rejection, ableism, trauma, or failure. This module helps participants reframe how they think about themselves, their challenges, and their potential. It introduces the power of growth mindset, emotional awareness, and self-belief ,while also naming and working through real mental health struggles like anxiety, burnout, and shame. It’s not about “positive thinking”, it’s about building inner tools that help participants show up, bounce back, and keep going.

Self advocacy is the ability to speak up for your needs, make informed choices, and stand strong in situations where your rights or wellbeing are at risk. For participants with a disability, this skill can be life-changing ,especially when navigating systems that are confusing, under-resourced, or biased. This module helps participants find their voice, learn their rights, and practise the tools needed to communicate effectively across different settings. It also prepares them emotionally for the discomfort that can come with advocacy, and builds strategies for handling those moments with self-respect and support.

Communication

Communication is more than talking, it’s how we connect, express, advocate, collaborate, and build relationships. Many participants may struggle with unspoken rules, confidence, or mismatches between their communication style and others’. This module brings together all the key strands touched on in earlier modules ,including self-advocacy, teamwork, digital literacy, and relationship building, and develops them into real-world, practical skills. It validates different ways of communicating (especially neurodivergent ones) while giving participants tools to navigate a world built on social cues and unwritten expectations.

Many participants have been told what to do for so long that they’ve never been supported to think for themselves, question things respectfully, or decide what’s best for them. This module helps participants build their reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a way that’s accessible, visual, and engaging. It’s not about academic thinking, it’s about thinking well in everyday life.

Many participants have been told they’re “not creative,” or have learned to disconnect from creative expression due to school experiences, trauma, or perfectionism. This module helps participants rediscover their natural creativity and understand how it can shape their everyday life, from how they solve problems to how they express feelings or make decisions. Whether through movement, visuals, design, music, or words, this module invites participants to reconnect with their imagination and agency.

Self determination is about taking charge of your own life, not just setting goals, but deciding what matters to you, why it matters, and how you want to move forward. For many people with a disability, choices are often made by others or influenced by fear, doubt, or barriers. This module helps participants reconnect with their internal compass. It supports them to recognise their right to choose, to push back when needed, and to move forward with agency, even if the path is uncertain. It’s about becoming the author of your own story.

This module supports participants in discovering what they want, breaking it down into manageable actions, and adjusting the plan when things shift. It empowers those who already have a goal, and gently supports those who feel lost or unsure. Coping with Change

Change is a normal part of life, but for many participants, especially those who are neurodivergent or disabled, it can feel destabilising, confusing, and unsafe. Whether it’s changing routines, people, environments, jobs, or roles, this module helps participants understand how change affects them, build the emotional and practical tools to cope with it, and, when possible, reframe it as a growth opportunity. Preparing to Study

This module is about rebuilding confidence, reimagining what learning can look like, and preparing participants emotionally, practically, and personally for study in a way that suits them. Financial Literacy

Money is a tool, and like any tool, it takes practice and confidence to use well. Many people with a disability have been excluded from financial learning or told that “someone else will handle that.” This module changes that. Participants learn how to budget, save, spend wisely, and build financial agency ,whether they manage their own income or get support. It also covers emotional spending, support systems, and financial planning for the future. The goal isn’t wealth, it’s confidence, control, and freedom.
